Client priorities

The budget-driven house was designed as a combination of regular and modular construction. The ground floor is constructed with a mason face block while the upper floor has a lightweight framing system so the client can choose between regular or modular construction.


An above-ground pool was incorporated into the house to avoid the need for an extra area for paving or a pool fence. This was essential as the small lot size wouldn’t have fit an in-ground pool without sacrificing large areas of the house.
